FP Install in Kansas City

Our graphic designer Jason snapped these photos in a MicroCenter in Kansas City. Looks like the FP's are helping to focus sound above demo stations. Also, you have to love the stuffed "Angry Birds" in the second image. It is amazing how popular that app has become.

Cool Guy Install of the Month, December 2011

Ocean Park Hong Kong is a marine mammal park, oceanarium, animal theme park and amusement park, situated in the Southern District of Hong Kong. The Park was founded in 1977 by GOV. Sir Murray MacLehose; now Ocean Park has grown to about 35 attractions and rides which have won several awards, including The World’s Seventh Most Popular Amusement Park and 33rd Most Visited Tourist Attractions in the World by Forbes. Ocean Park receives about 5 million visitors a year. Ocean Park has been a loyal SoundTube customer for many years. The Most recent upgrade included 200 XT550-GN for background music and paging in a large portion of the park. Sound Classy, SoundTube’s partner in Hong Kong and Macau, worked with the park’s AV design team to choose the solution. The picture above highlights RS500i-BK in one of the aquarium areas. Besides being an amusement park, Ocean Park Hong Kong also operates observatories, well developed laboratories, an education department and a Whales and Dolphins Fund.

Congratulations to Azhar @ Office 2000 Solutions for Winning the First Ever SoundTube Entertainment Installation Photo Contest

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have our winner. Congratulations to Azhar at Office 2000 Solutions for winning the "Show Us Your Sound(Tube)" installation photo contest and for winning yourself a brand new Bloggie HD mp4 camera from Sony. His winning entry comes from an installation for the Ocean Spray Resort in Pondicherry India. The installation makes use of 12 IW500i Speakers in the Banquet Hall. A partition allows for the creation of two private spaces within the hall, with each section housing 6 SoundTube speakers. The speakers are powered by a Biamp MCA8050 Amplifier. The images provided by Office 2000 Solutions show SoundTube IW500i speakers flanking either side of the main projection screen.

Congratulations to Azhar for his winning entry and a big thank you to everyone who participated. The photo installation contest was a great success. Future contests and drawings will be initiated through the SoundTube Facebook page and the SoundTube Entertainment blog.

SoundTube FP6030-II spotted at a Radiology show in Chicago

Redrick Technologies a Toronto based work station designer uses SoundTube FP6030-II with the FP-Motion option to provide personal audio for Radiologists using multiple workstations in the same area.

SoundDomes are a great idea for isolating sound in control rooms, design studios, work stations, and video conference desks.

Show Us Your Sound(Tube) Photo Contest

Today, November 1st, marks the beginning of our first ever photo contest. We are looking for photos of installations using SoundTube Speakers or Products. All permissions must be granted and we are looking for high resolution photos (no camera phones). Email your entries to epfischer@soundtube.com for your chance to win. Here's how to enter.

1) Gather images of your best SoundTube Speaker Installation. 2-3 Images will work best. You can send as many photos as you like, but each individual "install" will be considered.

2) Write a short paragraph about the install that includes speaker model numbers, quantities, location and installer. Also, be sure to include your name and the name of your company, so we know who to contact if you win.

3) Email your submission to epfischer@soundtube.com. It's that easy.
